A group project to model a household appliance and then redesign. We chose an electronic hand mixer and redesigned the entire casing for aesthetics. Then, a backstand was added so the device could be propped up when not in use. The grip was changed to something more comfortable. The quick-release button was made more ergonomic. Additionally, heat transfer, drop, and stress tests were run in COSMOS to test the feasibility of our new design.
