A group project to model a household appliance and then redesign.\u00a0 We chose an electronic hand mixer and redesigned the entire casing for aesthetics.\u00a0 Then,\u00a0a backstand was added so the device could be propped up when not in use.\u00a0 The grip was changed to something more comfortable.\u00a0 The quick-release button was made more ergonomic.\u00a0 Additionally, heat transfer, drop, and stress tests were run in COSMOS to test the feasibility of our new design.<\/p>\n
